End of the line

It is with great sadness and regret that we have decided to close ‘Ownonline’, and from now on cease trading.

‘Own’ has been trading for four full years now and has enjoyed good growth through a majority of that time, but very recently (July/Aug) sales pressure has proved one step too far for us and we have been left with no choice but to shut up shop.

We still believe that local food is the one commodity that can offer local communities and economies the opportunity to strengthen and enrich themselves, we can only hope that the supermarkets pick up this baton by continuing their foray into local food.

Boxes

Our beloved red and grey boxes are still very much needed and we will be driving around this Tues and Wed to collect them - we would be really grateful if you could leave them out for us, if this is a problem please e-mail us and we will make alternative arrangements.

Thank you so much for supporting us by shopping with Own, we very much hope you enjoyed the experience and apologise sincerely for any inconvenience we may cause you by stopping our service with what has to be such short notice.
